RALLS (Special) - Services for Adrian Taylor, 56, of Ralls will be at 3 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Lee Fuller, pastor, and Elba Hall, of Ralls Church of Christ, officiating.
Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.
He died at 12:05 a.m. Friday in Methodist Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Ralls and married Norma Akin Dec. 22, 1956, in Lubbock. He lived in Ralls all his life. He was a farmer and a veteran of the Korean War. He served as Crosby County Commissioner, precinct 1, since 1979. He was a member of Crosby County Democrats, Texas Tech Ex-Student Assn. and the service committee of the South Plains Electric Co-op. He was past president of Ralls Rotary Club and Crosby County Farmers Union.
He served as Post Commander of the VFW and American Legion posts in Ralls. He received the Most Outstanding Post Commander award in his district. He was listed, in Who's Who in Texas in 1975. In 1976 the Ralls Chamber of Commerce named him Man of the Year. He was president of Old Settlers in Crosby County and served past secretary of the Ralls Cemetery Board.
