• Obituary. Graveside services for Gladys Ruby Reese, 86, of Ralls, were held Saturday, August 15, 1998, in Ralls Cemetery with Kenneth Free, pastor of Emma Church of Chrsit in Ralls, officiating.
Burial was in Ralls cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
She died Thursday, August 13, 1998, in Lubbock's Methodist Hospital.
Reese was born on Feb. 24, 1912, in Whitefield, Oklahoma. She married Raymond William Reese on Dec. 2, 1929 in Lovington, NM. He died April 14, 1976.
She was a member of the Emma Church of Christ in Ralls. She was a graduate of Ralls High School. She moved to Ralls from Oklahoma in 1923.
She was preceded in death by four sisters, Vesta Taylor, Wanda Robinson, Hilda Jones and Vera Gillespie.
Survivors include a son, Loy and wife, Goldie, of Benton, Arkansas; a daughter, Charlene and husband, Bobby Moore of Lubbock; a brother, Travis Brents of Grandview; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
